Mary Magdalene - the Great Initiate

Jesus loved
Mary Magdalene more than all the disciples, and used to kiss her
on her mouth often. They said to him, "Why do you love
her more than all of us?" The savior answered, saying
to them, "Why do I not love you like her? If a blind
person and one with sight are both in the darkness, they are not
different from one another. When the light comes, then the
person with sight will see the light, and the blind person will
remain in the darkness."

Who was this mystery woman of the gospels? Was she really a
demon-possessed prostitute? Or was she a high initiate, the consort of
Jesus? Was she the mother of the Merovingian line of kings? Join us July
19-20 as we explore and celebrate the mysteries and legends surrounding
Mary Magdalene and her importance as initiator and guide. There will be
presentations and discussions. Religious services from the Gnostic
perspective will also be included.
